Why don't I see my auxiliary channels or vehicle status?

One of the most popular additions to our app are the status and auxiliary functions.  However, there are a few reasons why you might not see the auxiliary buttons in your app.  They are as follows:
  1. Your device has old firmware and it must be upgraded (applies to R700, L700, R710, and L710 models)
  2. You own a first generation SmartStart unit (R900).  These units are not compatible with the auxiliary and status features
  3. You have not "synchronized" your app since the firmware was upgraded.  You will need to go to more/settings/smartstart login and click on the "login/synchronize" button to fix this
  4. The auxiliary functions were turned off by the installer at the time of installation (they can be turned back on by SmartStart Technical Support)

**PLEASE NOTE**  The auxiliary buttons will not appear on the home screen until they are turned on in the app.  To turn on the auxiliary buttons on simply navigate to the cars tab and click on the blue arrow next to your car.  On the next screen scroll down to "aux buttons" and click on that.  At that time you just need to choose a name for the auxiliary channel and once you do it will appear on the home screen.
