BlackBerry apps are OS and device-specific, and must be designed to fit many different display sizes or resolutions. If you do not find a SmartStart app in BlackBerry App world for your specific handset, it may be because you have a newer handset with hi-res display, or an older phone with a much smaller display, or a phone with an older OS that isn't supported by the SmartStart app.
For newer handsets with hi-res display, the SmartStart app can be installed manually. The app UI will not fill your screen, however you should be able to control your vehicle with it. Those apps are available at https://www.mysmartstart.com/KnownIssues.aspx. Just select your handset model, and the file will be emailed to you for installation via your PC using BlackBerry Desktop Manager software and a USB cable. You must unzip the file first before you can install it.
If your handset model is not listed in App World or on that support page, we do not currently have a version that's compatible with your phone. Pearl and Style flip phones are among those handsets that are not currently supported.
